Physical Appearance: At eighteen years old and an unimpressive 5'2", Cassie's stature matches her timid personality. Her hair is cut short, although it's slightly longer in front, and is a vivid light purple color. She has delicately formed features that are often described as "cute", especially with that little nose (that turns upward ever so slightly at the end), that are set with a pair of pale blue eyes that sometimes appear lilac in certain lights. Her skin is quite pale despite how much time she spends outside, although she does keep most of her body covered with her attire, which is an odd blend of adorable, modest, and sexy. It consists of a black tank top under a long-sleeved shirt that hangs off of her shoulders, the body being white and the sleeves being a dark indigo, with a front pocket edged in pale blue; this shirt is long enough that it mostly covers her (admittedly short) green plaid skirt. This skirt reveals a few inches of pale thigh before the remainder of her legs are covered by a set of striped stockings in two shades of purple. Topping off the ensemble is a pair of plain white sneakers with black accents. She wears a golden oval locket around her neck which has a picture of her father, and a brown leather belt around her left thigh.

Skills: Cassie is a skilled singer, although usually too shy to sing where people can hear her. She can also ride a bike and rollerskate, preferring the latter to the former; she can often be seen skating around town, listening to music.

Personality: Shy and non-confrontational, Cassie doesn't often speak to others, and perpetually keeps a lollipop in her mouth to use as an excuse to avoid conversation. She likes to read and keep to herself and doesn't have any true friends. She's fascinated by Pokemon and likes to learn as much about them as she can, which is a large part of what drove her to become a Pokemon trainer. She also wants to see the world and all the amazing things it has to offer. She loves cute and cuddly things and her favorite Pokemon is the only one she currently owns, Piplup.

History (Optional): Born and raised in Cerulean City, Cassie was always a rather quiet and shy child. She was shunned by the other children from a very young age, and that was fine by her; she was perfectly happy to spend most of her time with her favorite person in the world, her father Will. But when Cassie was eight, her father fell ill and ended up in the hospital. After a few months of struggling against illness, he passed away. Cassie, who had never been close to her mother, withdrew into herself, becoming even more reclusive than before. She found solace in reading her father's books about Pokemon, and studying them as he had done. She wanted to make him proud, and so when she finished her schooling, she decided to become a Pokemon trainer and see the world.

She'd thought perhaps he was going to kiss her again, but she wasn't disappointed when he didn't. Instead, as Declan leaned back into his Charizard and settled comfortably, Cassie adjusted her position on his lap just slightly. Turning sideways, she tucked her legs up so that they were draped to one side of his lap, then laid her head on his shoulder as her arms tucked between her thighs and torso. Thus settled, she breathed a contented sigh and closed her eyes. Yep.. this was definitely the best day of her life. Also somehow the most terrifying, but the good had definitely outweighed the bad in the end. Her lips curved into a small grin as she marveled at the fact that she was actually there, with him, like this. Best belated birthday present ever.

It isn't long before Declan dozes softly, Cassie still cradled in his arms. He had planned on kissing her more, but he was just so comfortable. She was so soft and wonderful to hug and he was so snuggly warm. Cassie would find escaping his arms a task if she tried to do so, but it wasn't a bad place to sleep. The heat Inferno gives off is pleasantly warm and the rest of the fire type pokemon mean they are perfectly safe.

Cassie looked up at Declan and realized he'd fallen asleep, a fact that brought a smile to her face. As she snuggled into him with a small yawn, her small half-team came over and clustered around them, Piplup crawling up into her arms while Vulpix settled at Declan's feet, and Pancham took up a spot leaning against her back, ready to protect. Cuddled up with her favorite person in the world and her growing group of Pokemon friends, she sighed happily, and drifted quickly into sleep.
She'd pass the night that way unless Declan shifted them around, and then shortly after the sun rose, she woke up, and stretched with a small squeak. Piplup chirped up at her, and she smiled, cuddling the little Pokemon before looking up at Declan's face to see if he was awake yet. As much as she had enjoyed the night and the later part of the previous day, she still had a team to build. They would probably be on the move again after breakfast. Whether or not Declan was awake, she tried to slide out of his arms, thinking that it was about time she made them breakfast, for once.

Declan woke shortly after Cassie started to struggle to free herself. He pulled her in tight and kissed her, then recoiled. Both of their breaths were fairly ripe, they hadn't brushed last night of this morning.
"We should brush our teeth before we do that."
He says with a little laugh before letting her go and heading off to rinse his mouth out.

Cassie squeaked when Declan pulled her into him despite her struggles, then giggled as he drew away. "Yeah, that's probably a good idea." She grabbed her toothbrush and toothpaste from her backpack and then went to brush her teeth at the small stream near their campsite. Upon her return, she set about making breakfast, a simple affair of campfire biscuits and some bacon. She was humming merrily, looking extremely happy as she cooked. His first reaction upon waking up had been to kiss her. Cassie was walking on air. She still couldn't entirely believe this was happening, but she would continue to enjoy it until it ended.

Declan decided to take an extended trip at the stream. He bathed and brushed and general made himself feel less gross. Once that was out of the way he joined Cassie for breakfast. He devoured his food with his usual enthusiasm. Once that was done, he got to work breaking down camp. As he works he talks to Cassie.
"So you said you wanted a Deerling? That would mean the Viridian forest so that is where we will head to next."
Declan hums as he works. He is quite happy and he isn't one hundred percent sure why. He just had a warm feeling in his stomach and his blood would burn whenever he thought of Cassie. He enjoyed the feeling it was similar, but not quite the same as the one he had in a good battle. Battling made him feel alive though, this made him feel content, it was an odd experience.

Cassie ate swiftly and happily, then helped to clean up. When Declan started breaking down camp, she grabbed her backpack, intending to go take a very quick bath in the stream, but stopped when he spoke. She blinked, then nodded at him, and grinned.
"Okay. I'm just going to go clean up real quick, and then I'll be ready to go." She skipped out of camp with her Pokemon hot on her heels, and as soon as she arrived at the stream, she stripped down and scrubbed herself clean. After drying off, she pulled her clothes back on and returned to the camp, her damp hair hanging around her face. Piplup was in her arms, and Pancham was riding on Vulpix, which was honestly kind of hilarious, but also adorable. She gave Declan a beaming grin, her cheeks flushed with happiness. "Alright, I'm ready."

Declan lounges against one of the packs as he waits for Cassie. When she returns he gets to his feet,dragging his pack with him and slinging to over his shoulder. He once again considers Cassie, not sure what is happening between them. It was odd most of his decisions didn't leave this much room for introspection. Usually something was done and over with, this though was a fresh choice each time. Of course he made the same choice, he kissed her and said with a smile.
"Alright lets get going."
With that he sets them toward Viridian City and it's forest. It will be at least a week before they arrive, since they are traveling by foot. They could have flown of course, but he never thinks to that except in emergencies.
