History (Optional): A girl who's been on a pokémon journey for many years now. She is now 19 years old. Whenever she comes to a new region she starts over with just one pokémon. She originally hails from Ecruteak City.

Shortly after, a Flygon would arrive and let off it's passenger, Skarlet. She had followed Declan and Sarah from Cerulean City. The young woman walked around examining the invaded daycare. She saw the man she was following come out of the daycare and leave on his charizard, leaving the Salamence behind. Skarlet assumed the woman she was following was still around and she would find her shortly talking to another woman. "Hello, sorry, I followed you from the Pokémon Center after I overheard your conversation. I'm Skarlet, I'd like to help."

Kaila barely registered the embrace, hands pressed to her face to try and hold her tears. But her heart was breaking in two. Eventually she would push into the gym leader's hold for some reassurance, though she was likely not to receive it.
"They took them... they took the Pokemon... th-those poor Pokemon," she sniffles, managing to bring a hand up and point for the forested area - over which, the helicopter had disappeared. "Th-They left..."

Physical Appearance: She is a tallish woman, at about 5'10", with blue hair (not natural, natural is brown) and brown eyes. A rather attractive figure is usually complimented by some sort of beach or sunbathing attire, except for her Gym Uniform which strongly resembles that of a wetsuit
Skills: Swimming, diving, and calming down wayward Pokemon, as well as combating fires, due to her gym's close relationship with the Kanto Fire Department. She is also a phenomenal Pokemon Trainer and Gym Leader, focusing more on training new trainers and others than on actually battling challengers.
Personality: She is very cool-headed and calm, always ready with a quick word to diffuse a situation. She will also use almost any opportunity as a learning opportunity for those younger or less experienced than her, and is always willing to become a mentor to other Trainers.

Sarah patted her on the back reassuringly.
"Don't worry Kaila, Declan and I will get them back..."
She saw him run in and pull out a Pokemon then return it a few minutes later.
"Right now apparently. Dammit Declan, why can't you ever communicate!"
She let go of Kaila and turned to face Skarlet.
"Alright well come on then! We have to catch up with him!"
She ran off and hopped on Salamence's back, the powerful dragon Pokemon pushing off into the air to follow its trainer.

Physical Appearance: She is a tall, youthful woman with blonde hair and blue eyes. Her hair is almost always in a ponytail, usually pulled through the back of a baseball cap. She has a very athletic figure, mostly due to the work she does at the daycare.
Skills: She is currently learning to become a breeder, and is therefore developing the skills necessary for that. She is also an okay cook and decent outdoorswoman.
Personality: She is kind and generous, if a little naive or oblivious, but takes her job seriously, and is dedicated to her future and the Daycare.

Elizabeth wearily looked up at the departing trainers as she went to stand next to Kaila.
"Don't worry boss, if anyone can save those Pokemon its those two. Those Rockets won't stand a chance against their combined might."
She looked around at the devastation that encapsulated the small Daycare. Pokemon lay injured everywhere, many of those who had not been caught sustaining injuries during their flight.
"And we need to be ready to care for those Pokemon when they return. I can't do it alone boss."
