What more could she do? And now there were two of them... Her frantic gaze moved past the pair of them to the number of Pokemon fighting and wiggling in nets, needing help. She really only had one option. She managed to tear her sights way and would make a bolt for inside the house - she could get to the phone and have Cerulean police here in minutes, and possibly Saffron officers, too.
Sparky remained where he was, save for taking a few paces to keep watch at his keeper's flank should anyone try to stop her from running. He was determined to protect her.
From the nearby pool for the water Pokemon, something was stirring in the deep waters.

She has a mercurial temperament that switches between emotions and demeanor in the blink of an eye.

Pyroar was tougher than she looked, and when she got slammed into, she went rolling with a snarl, then skidded to a stop and lurched back to her feet. She shook herself vigorously then ran back to Shanna's side with only a slight limp, taking up her position again. Shanna pointed toward the Rhyhorn with a smirk on her lips, tossing her head in a cocky manner.
"Show 'em what you've got! Noble Roar!" The Pyroar huffed, then inhaled deeply, before bellowing out a loud roar aimed at the Rhyhorn.

The Noble Roar caused Rhyhorn to pause, and the Flash Cannon sent him flying into the cart, destroying the cart and sending food flying every where.
"Rhyhorn return!" The red light flashed out from the poke ball in her hand to bring her defeated Pokemon back.
"Can't take me on by yourself? Always knew Team Rocket was a bunch of cowards! Attacking helpless Pokemon at a Daycare, you people make me sick." Their Pokemon were way more powerful than hers, so it was time to even the odds. Her voice dripped with disgust at their actions, and she picked up a rock and threw it at Shanna's head as her other hand pressed the button on the pokeball on her belt to summon Nidorino.
"Nidorino! Double Kick!"
He ran at Pyroar, ready to kick the cat-pokemon in her fiery face.

Physical Appearance: Physically fit, and standing about 6'3''. He has black hair and very dark brown eyes. He commonly wears his team rocket uniform of course, which he finds to be completely foolish. Other than that he also wears his regular clothes, consisting of a black turtle-neck shirt and dark pants.
Skills: Must have an extensive history of pokemon training prior to his entrance into Team Rocket, as evidenced by his pokemon team.
He is also physically fit and trained in combat himself. This was perhaps part of the reason he was accepted into team rocket in the first place.
Personality: Drake usually has a serious, rational demeanor. This also lends to his dry sense of humor, which he will use to confuse his partner often, just for his own amusement.
Despite his stony exterior, he has been known to quarrel at times with his partner as well, and become somewhat emotionally heated. Despite all of this he enjoys working with his partner, and unlike many he meets, sees her as someone he can depend on not to be a complete idiot. He is very pessimistic about other people and their potential merits.
History (Optional): Drake's history is for the most part unknown by everyone he interacts with.

Drake's countenance would change ever so slightly with the raising of a brow as he watched Elizabeth throw a rock at Shanna. She seemed to be quite angry at the moment, not that this mattered to the Team Rocket members.
"Well, looks like this one is feistier than I thought," he said off-handedly as she sent out her Nidorino, "You really should have just listened the first time. Magnezone, use thunderbolt."
Once again bolts of electricity would arc from the pokemon towards the Nidorino. Figuring that would be enough to deal with the Nidorino, Drake would reach into a pocket in his uniform, taking out a radio and saying a few inaudible words into it. About two minutes later, the sound of a helicopter's blade could be heard. Apparently they had the helicopter nearby in preparation for an escape.

Kaila scrambled inside the house to find the phone in her little office on the first floor, and struggled in her rising panic to hit the buttons to call the Cerulean police station. When the line finally opened and an officer answered, her words came out in a jumbled rush. "Please, I need help! Team Rocket - they're trying to steal the Pokemon! Here, at my daycare center! They broke down the fence! They're trying to take them! Please, help me! Please!"
She heard the muffled sound of a helicopter blade revving up from inside, but at first she wasn't sure what it was. It only made her more frantic. She abandoned the phone and made a rush to get right back outside - she wasn't sure what she was going to do, but she had to do something!
The Jolteon remained on guard between Team Rocket and the door, still snarling and barking at them menacingly while his electrified body drew a greater charge. Spark shot wildly off his fur at this point.
And from that pool something did emerge - the giant head of a Gyarados rose and cast water off it's figure, but a pair of dangerous eyes turned to those members clad in dark - the ones responsible for the madness here and making his current caretaker upset. He was NOT happy. The massive jaw opened to unleash a threatening roar that preceded a drawing energy that was building at the mouth. One could almost see the particles being drawn in as it charged.

Pyroar got hit with that kick and went flying with a yowl, skidding to a stop, and Shanna cursed as she called the unconscious Pokemon back into her Pokeball. She turned back just in time to receive a rock to the face, which sliced into her left cheek and left a gash that immediately began welling blood. Her eyes narrowed dangerously at the rock-throwing blonde, then, and she pointed at the woman threateningly, her voice dropping into a dangerous octave as she spoke; all of that faux goofiness was gone, now, replaced by sheer malice.
"I'm going to get you for that one day, bitch. You just watch your back." She was on the verge of calling upon another Pokemon when she heard the water stir, and turned to see the Gyarados emerging from the water. Her eyes rounded in alarm, and she immediately turned and began bolting toward the helicopter, snagging as many netted Pokemon as she could on the way. "Drake, we need to get out of here!" She was not taking any chances with a Gyarados. Nope. She'd head to where the helicopter was in sight, netted Pokemon in disarray at her feet, and wait for the ladder and basket to be lowered.. so that the Pokemon could go in the basket, and she and Drake could ascend the ladder to their escape.

Magnezone's Thunderbolt narrowly grazed Nidorino, causing the Pokemon to leap aside as Shanna ran for the helicopter.
"I look forward to a rematch!" She called to the fleeing Rocket Member. There wasn't much she could do against a helicopter, but she could try and save some netted Pokemon. She ran after Shanna, Nidorino right at her heels, intent on grabbing some of the netted Pokemon before they could make their escape.

Drake's brow would raise slightly as the Gyarados emerged from the pool, yet he did not seem even slightly as worried by it as his partner had been.
"A Gyarados? Quite impressive indeed, unfortunately that is one of the worst pokemon that could have possibly been matched up against an electric type. Magnezone, use Thunderbolt!"
The Magnezone would comply like clockwork, bolts of lightning shooting from it's horseshoe shaped magnets and arcing towards the Gyarados in the pool of water.
Afterwards, assuming Drake did not encounter any more setbacks, he would then begin to make his exit along with his partner Shanna, collecting pokemon along the way with Magnezone. The nets that entangled the pokemon seemed to be magnetic, making it quite easy for the Magnezone to collect a bunch of pokemon as they went. These pokemon would all be placed into a larger net that would then be lifted into the air by the helicopter as they flew away. The line attached to the net and the net itself was made of a highly resistant metal cording.

Kaila came out in time to see the Gyarados charging - and the oncoming electric attack. Before she could even scream her distress, Sparky was already on the move, leaping up in the direct path of the lightning and taking it fully. Yet, instead of being injured he was launched into a wall from the force... and then he stood up looking more angry than before - and the sparks jumping off his fur had tripled. His natural ability to absorb electricity saved both Gyarados and himself.
The woman was astounded as she watched her beloved Jolteon bark at the massive water dragon before tearing across the fields with a newfound speed via Agility boost - seeming to aim for the retreating helicopter. As he rushed off, the Gyarados finished its charge - and with an open maw shot out a powerful beam of pure energy directly for the spinning propellers of the device attempting to flee, likely to destroy them and bring the whole contraption crashing back down if it connected.

With all her netted Pokemon dumped into the basket, Shanna had hastily scrambled up the rope ladder and was already in the chopper, leaning out and looking down at Drake as he soared their way. "Get this thing moving, we don't need to be in range of that Gyarados's attack!" This was snapped at the chopper pilot - and not a moment too soon. The Team Rocket pilot veered crazily in an attempt to avoid the attack shot off by the Gyarados, and even then, the blades whined alarmingly as the machine leveled out. Shanna had to hold on for dear life just to avoid being catapulted out of the open bay doors, and then she was gesturing toward Drake as she called out above the noise of the rotors.
"Jump in and recall your Magnezone, let's go!" Once that was accomplished, the chopper would zoom off into the distance, although not with as many Pokemon as they'd hoped.. the wild evasive maneuvers had dumped out some of the netted Pokemon in the basket, but they'd managed to keep quite a few. She glared toward the Daycare as they disappeared.

Liz looked on in despair as the helicopter took off with its cargo of captured Pokemon. She threw another rock at the helicopter before sinking to her knees. Tears coursed down her cheeks as she beat her fist in frustration on the ground. She was angry and disappointed in herself. She could have done more, been smarter, or faster, or a better Trainer. Something.

Drake would be quite surprised the Gyarados was not KO'd by his attack. It seemed he had grown careless, a mistake he would not make in the future. Thankfully the helicopter was able to avoid the hyper beam.
"Magnezone, return," he said as he recalled the magnezone back into the pokeball. He would quickly move towards the rope ladder and grabbed on. The moment he did the helicopter would begin to move, leaving him to climb up into the helicopter and close the bay door as they made their escape. Once inside he would sigh, somewhat disappointed,
"Well that was certainly not the smoothest of operations," he commented in a neutral tone to Shanna. His eyes would look out the window of the helicopter then, his gaze intent. He already knew where they would be heading.

The Hyper Beam missed... As the helicopter veered off over the trees and out of sight, Kaila felt her heart sink into her chest. She had just lost a number of Pokemon that belong to other trainers. They had entrusted her with their care... and she lost them. She sank to her knees in the grass as the tears rose to the surface, making her eyes sparkle with no joy.
Sparky ran fruitlessly after the fleeing machine until he reached the edge of the fence, where it was too late and they were already gone. But that didn't stop him from barking after the empty sky. With nothing more to do, and a number of his new friends still in nets, he began to run around and start biting and clawing to get them free.
The woman couldn't find the strength to stand, only to weep. She brought her hands up to try and ward off the tears that rolled down her cheeks, but it was pointless. How could anyone trust her with their Pokemon now, after she proved incapable of keeping Team Rocket at bay? Worse yet... what would become of those poor Pokemont they took?

Physical Appearance: She is a tallish woman, at about 5'10", with blue hair (not natural, natural is brown) and brown eyes. A rather attractive figure is usually complimented by some sort of beach or sunbathing attire, except for her Gym Uniform which strongly resembles that of a wetsuit
Skills: Swimming, diving, and calming down wayward Pokemon, as well as combating fires, due to her gym's close relationship with the Kanto Fire Department. She is also a phenomenal Pokemon Trainer and Gym Leader, focusing more on training new trainers and others than on actually battling challengers.
Personality: She is very cool-headed and calm, always ready with a quick word to diffuse a situation. She will also use almost any opportunity as a learning opportunity for those younger or less experienced than her, and is always willing to become a mentor to other Trainers.

It wouldn't be long after that until two winged shapes could be seen descending from the sky to land next to the Daycare.
Sarah hopped off of Salamence before he even touched the ground, and was sprinting over towards the ruin fence line. For once, she was ahead of Declan. Declan hopped of Inferno's back and surveyed the scene. The normally chipper man was enraged by this. There is no hesitation no stopping to talk. He barrels into the daycare and uses the PC to swap out his pokemon. He replace Roxy with his Espeon, Esper. He releases the pink cat like pokemon and has it use future sight. The Espeon purrs, it's eyes glow and it sees into the future. It then lets out a little rowl of excitement and points. They had a direction, without waiting for Sarah Declan hops onto Infernos back and takes off.
