Physical Appearance: At eighteen years old and an unimpressive 5'2", Cassie's stature matches her timid personality. Her hair is cut short, although it's slightly longer in front, and is a vivid light purple color. She has delicately formed features that are often described as "cute", especially with that little nose (that turns upward ever so slightly at the end), that are set with a pair of pale blue eyes that sometimes appear lilac in certain lights. Her skin is quite pale despite how much time she spends outside, although she does keep most of her body covered with her attire, which is an odd blend of adorable, modest, and sexy. It consists of a black tank top under a long-sleeved shirt that hangs off of her shoulders, the body being white and the sleeves being a dark indigo, with a front pocket edged in pale blue; this shirt is long enough that it mostly covers her (admittedly short) green plaid skirt. This skirt reveals a few inches of pale thigh before the remainder of her legs are covered by a set of striped stockings in two shades of purple. Topping off the ensemble is a pair of plain white sneakers with black accents. She wears a golden oval locket around her neck which has a picture of her father, and a brown leather belt around her left thigh.

She's fascinated by Pokemon and likes to learn as much about them as she can, which is a large part of what drove her to become a Pokemon trainer. She also wants to see the world and all the amazing things it has to offer. She loves cute and cuddly things and her favorite Pokemon is the only one she currently owns, Piplup.

But when Cassie was eight, her father fell ill and ended up in the hospital. After a few months of struggling against illness, he passed away. Cassie, who had never been close to her mother, withdrew into herself, becoming even more reclusive than before. She found solace in reading her father's books about Pokemon, and studying them as he had done. She wanted to make him proud, and so when she finished her schooling, she decided to become a Pokemon trainer and see the world.

He had beaten Sarah? That made Cassie look up at Declan with something akin to awe. She'd thought the Cerulean Gym Leader was the be all end all of awesome, and to hear that he'd beaten her, let alone so many times..! It was mind-boggling, and now she was looking up at the fiery-haired man with something that bordered on hero worship. Wait, he wanted to.. he wanted to teach her?! Hearing this surprised Cassie so much, in conjunction with his arm coming around her shoulders, that she tripped all over herself and, if Declan didn't catch her, she would probably hit the floor. But he probably caught her, leaving her to turn her head and look up at him in eager surprise and amazement.
"Y-you want to teach me? B-but why? I-I m-mean, it would.. it would be so amazing, so very nice of you, I-I just.. I just don't understand why!" Was it really just because he thought she was pretty..? And would he really get bored and abandon her? The thought made Cassie's features fall into one of sadness, her lips curving down into a small frown while her eyes glassed over. No one had taken an interest in her, since her father died.. the thought of someone finding her interesting, then leaving her because they got bored.. bored with her... Her lips quivered, and she ducked her head to hide the despair that crossed her face, stepping away from Declan and speaking softly.
"..Maybe Miss Sarah is r-right.. you should.. f-find someone more.. interesting...."

Declan's arm simply tightens as his pupil starts to fall. He partially lifts her off her feet and then sets her back down waiting until she is steady. He looks at the girl curiously, what was that all about? Well whatever what was he doing again? Oh right! Shutting Sarah up and taking a pupil cause it would be fun.
"Why does it matter that she is pretty?"
Declan seem genuinely confused by this. Shaking his head he charges ahead.
"I am going to teach her 'cause Piplup is adorable, she seems nice, I think it will be fun and interesting, and I want to do it! Besides I have a lot of free time now that I am a member of the Elite Four, which is also why I am not watching the gym, Dakota is gym leader now."

Skarlet takes a peek to look at the 3 people. It appeared one of them was a gym leader and the man was a former gym leader now elite 4. The girl with purple hair must be a new trainer. Skarlet would turn back around but keep listening.

Skills: Swimming, diving, and calming down wayward Pokemon, as well as combating fires, due to her gym's close relationship with the Kanto Fire Department. She is also a phenomenal Pokemon Trainer and Gym Leader, focusing more on training new trainers and others than on actually battling challengers.
Personality: She is very cool-headed and calm, always ready with a quick word to diffuse a situation. She will also use almost any opportunity as a learning opportunity for those younger or less experienced than her, and is always willing to become a mentor to other Trainers.

Cassie blinked, and looked up in confusion. So it wasn't just because she was pretty? He thought it would be fun and interesting? ..She didn't know what to think about that, let alone what to say. She wasn't.. either of those things. Piplup made a noise in her arms, and she looked down at the Pokemon, who tilted her head up and nuzzled the girl's face encouragingly. Cassie smiled down at the little bird, then pressed a kiss to the tip of her beak, before raising her head. Well, if Sarah thought it would be a good idea... Cassie squared her shoulders and raised her chin, trying to look and sound more confident than she felt.
"I.. okay. I'll be your student, Mister Dawn." There. She did it. She'd made a decision! Cassie smiled.

"Nah Dakota was excited, she gets to be a gym leader after all. She was just worried she wasn't good enough."
Declan once again proves just how poorly he understands people, even those closest to him. Still the man had his good points and if he could figure out how he'd be a fine mentor. Once he is sure Cassie isn't going to fall again he lets go of her shoulder. Sticking his hands in his pockets again he ponders Sarah's question.
"I sorta mentored Dakota, but she's a natural. She just has to apply herself, still how hard can it be?"
Declan smiles the smile of an ignorant man. His smile turns to confusion when Cassie says she will be his student.
"Well yeah, of course you will. Didn't we already decide that?"

Cassie looked up at Declan.. and laughed. It was just a soft, brief giggle, a tiny little thing.. but it existed. He was funny. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad after all. Letting a small smile linger on her lips, she turned to look at Sarah, nodding at the Gym Leader.
"It's okay, Miss Sarah. I want to learn from him. Maybe it'll be fun." She did want to get out of Cerulean City, after all. And traveling with someone older and more experienced meant she'd probably be safe and would learn valuable things. Even if Declan did seem a little.. spacey sometimes.

"Oh right, I never actually asked if she wanted to be my student. See, but she wants to so it's all good Sarah."
Declan says after a moments consideration. The man dimly remembered making the choice and he had just assumed he'd asked. Well Cassie seemed fine with it so that was that then. Then his stomach growled and he remembered why he came in here in the first place. Turning he headed toward the food court area. If he got there and found Cassie and Sarah hadn't followed he'd go back and grab them. After all they had decided they were all getting lunch together, or he had whatever.

Skarlet decides it's time to feed Flabébé and lets her out of her Pokéball. The little fairy type Pokémon coos and snuggles up to Skarlet. "Here Flabébé, I have food for you."
Skarlet holds out a little pellet that small enough for Flabébé to eat. The little Pokémon noms on the pellet and squeals, she wants more. Skarlet continues to feed Flabébé until she's had her fill, she then gently strokes Flabébé with her fingers. Flabébé held on to a red flower that was more than twice her size.

Physical Appearance: She is a tallish woman, at about 5'10", with blue hair (not natural, natural is brown) and brown eyes. A rather attractive figure is usually complimented by some sort of beach or sunbathing attire, except for her Gym Uniform which strongly resembles that of a wetsuit
Skills: Swimming, diving, and calming down wayward Pokemon, as well as combating fires, due to her gym's close relationship with the Kanto Fire Department. She is also a phenomenal Pokemon Trainer and Gym Leader, focusing more on training new trainers and others than on actually battling challengers.
Personality: She is very cool-headed and calm, always ready with a quick word to diffuse a situation. She will also use almost any opportunity as a learning opportunity for those younger or less experienced than her, and is always willing to become a mentor to other Trainers.

She shook her head and remembering how long she had spent at lunch with him last time, turned her phone off of vibrate, in case something happened at the Gym while she was gone. She began to follow Declan to the Food Court, which was her original purpose for coming to the Center in the first place.
*sigh* "Come on Cassie, once he makes up his mind..."

Physical Appearance: At eighteen years old and an unimpressive 5'2", Cassie's stature matches her timid personality. Her hair is cut short, although it's slightly longer in front, and is a vivid light purple color. She has delicately formed features that are often described as "cute", especially with that little nose (that turns upward ever so slightly at the end), that are set with a pair of pale blue eyes that sometimes appear lilac in certain lights. Her skin is quite pale despite how much time she spends outside, although she does keep most of her body covered with her attire, which is an odd blend of adorable, modest, and sexy. It consists of a black tank top under a long-sleeved shirt that hangs off of her shoulders, the body being white and the sleeves being a dark indigo, with a front pocket edged in pale blue; this shirt is long enough that it mostly covers her (admittedly short) green plaid skirt. This skirt reveals a few inches of pale thigh before the remainder of her legs are covered by a set of striped stockings in two shades of purple. Topping off the ensemble is a pair of plain white sneakers with black accents. She wears a golden oval locket around her neck which has a picture of her father, and a brown leather belt around her left thigh.

Skills: Cassie is a skilled singer, although usually too shy to sing where people can hear her. She can also ride a bike and rollerskate, preferring the latter to the former; she can often be seen skating around town, listening to music.

Personality: Shy and non-confrontational, Cassie doesn't often speak to others, and perpetually keeps a lollipop in her mouth to use as an excuse to avoid conversation. She likes to read and keep to herself and doesn't have any true friends. She's fascinated by Pokemon and likes to learn as much about them as she can, which is a large part of what drove her to become a Pokemon trainer. She also wants to see the world and all the amazing things it has to offer. She loves cute and cuddly things and her favorite Pokemon is the only one she currently owns, Piplup.

History (Optional): Born and raised in Cerulean City, Cassie was always a rather quiet and shy child. She was shunned by the other children from a very young age, and that was fine by her; she was perfectly happy to spend most of her time with her favorite person in the world, her father Will. But when Cassie was eight, her father fell ill and ended up in the hospital. After a few months of struggling against illness, he passed away. Cassie, who had never been close to her mother, withdrew into herself, becoming even more reclusive than before. She found solace in reading her father's books about Pokemon, and studying them as he had done. She wanted to make him proud, and so when she finished her schooling, she decided to become a Pokemon trainer and see the world.

"Yes, Miss Sarah." She hurried along beside Sarah, following Declan, with Piplup in her arms. As they walked, she looked back and forth from Declan to Sarah, then finally settled her hesitant gaze on the female Gym Leader, speaking softly. "Is he always like that? Does he just decide things without asking people?" She didn't sound offended, or upset. Just.. curious. Declan was unlike anybody she'd ever met before, and he was.. strange. But she liked him. He was nice and seemed to find her interesting, and that was plenty enough reason for Cassie to be sure about her reason to let him teach her. Once they arrived at the food court, she got a sandwich and water for herself, and some food pellets for Piplup, then sat wherever it was the other two wanted, focusing on feeding Piplup before even touching her own food.

Declan released his team into the designated area just outside the food court. The five fire types and one dragon type pokemon stretched out happily. He purchased a great deal of food for them and they set about devouring it. He then purchased a great deal of food for himself. A burrito the size of a brick lathered in hot sauce and an order of fries also lathered in hot sauce. He then set about devouring his meal, between mouthfuls he asks Cassie with a grin.
"So what kind of pokemon do you want to catch?"

"From what I have seen, yes. He always does that. But if you really want to get to know him, I suggest you ask his sister, Dakota. She's probably the only one in Kanto who knows the real him. He's not from around here."
She was not far behind Declan and sent her two Pokemon out to join his. Floatzel immediately went for the food, while her majestic Milotic, impressive even for a Milotic, slowly made her way over to them. Sarah went up and got nearly as much food as Declan did, focusing on a good-size burrito bowl and a bag of chips.

Cassie listened as Sarah talked about Declan's sister. Would she ever meet the girl, she wondered? Possibly. If Declan wanted to go home and visit, she would probably go with him. There was no reason not to go wherever he wanted to, after all. Lost in these musings, she shook herself out of them after a few minutes, and looked up from feeding Piplup and glanced toward the Pokemon outside. Then she looked down at Piplup again, realizing the little Pokemon had stopped eating and was now peering up at her. She smiled at the little bird and affectionately stroked her feathers, then spoke quietly, as was her nature.
"Do you want to go outside and play?" Piplup tilted her head questioningly and replied with a, 'Pip?', to which Cassie shook her head. "I'll be okay, I promise. Go on." Setting Piplup on the floor, she watched with quiet contentment as the little penguin waddled her way outside, still holding her favorite ball. She heard Declan ask his question, then, and looked at the red-haired man with a blink. Then she blushed and ducked her head, pulling her sandwich closer, rolling her shoulders in a small shrug. She made to speak, then remembered what Declan said and raised her eyes to his before responding. "I.. don't know. I haven't really thought about it..." Her gaze flicked toward Piplup, and she smiled again.
"..I like cute Pokemon.. like Piplup.. she's my favorite." She blushed then, and picked up her sandwich, taking a small nibble of it as she looked down at the table shyly.
