Physical Appearance: 35 years old, 5'8", 140 lbs, medium-large framed, pale skin with tribal tattoos on her right shoulder, dark blue hair, somewhat small black eyes. When not in uniform she prefers black tank tops and sweat pants.

Skills: Firefighting, Pokemon battling. Although she generally doesn't talk about it, she has an above average proficiency with weapons and knows some martial arts.

Personality: Although prone to bouts of depression and moodiness, her natural character is genial and boisterous. She's likes to make crude jokes and hanging out with the guys. She speaks her mind and doesn't really have a "soft" side. When alone, she can seem restrained and even cold.

History (Optional): Everett is a woman who's seen a lot of things. Having fought alongside Lt. Surge in the Kanto War, Everett was an ok combatant but who lacked any real passion. According to her, the best thing that ever happened to her was meeting her Gardevoir, who taught her that saving lives was much more fulfilling than taking them. To this day she deeply regrets ever enrolling in the army.

Pokemon Team: Although her Pokemon are all capable fighters, they've also been trained to help her fight fires and rescue people. Many carry assault vests to help them withstand high heat.
Arcanine, male, "Ranger"
Item: Assault Vest, Ability: Flash Fire
Moves: Flare Blitz, Wild Charge, Close Combat, Extreme Speed.
Ranger is usually by Everett's side. It is completely immune to flames and can help find trapped victims. Its attacks can obliterate certain obstacles, although this is used sparingly for obvious reasons.
Blastoise, male, "Tsunami"
Item: Mystic Water, Ability: Rain Dish Moves: Hydro Pump, Rain Dance, Ice Beam , Aura Sphere.
A firetruck onto itself, Tsunami can blanket an entire city block in rain and use its hydro pump to beat back fires. Its ice beam can form fireproof barriers, and its aura sphere lets it break down doors instantly.
Gardevoir, female, "Hero"
Item: Gardevoirite, Ability: Trace (Turns into Pixilate), Moves: Hyper Voice, Protect, Psychic, Thunderbolt
Hero is Everett's best friend. Although she refused to kill, she saved Everett's life just before the war ended. Her Protect can deflect explosions and rubble, Psychic can remove obstacles that require more finesse, Thunderbolt can resuscitate victims, and Hyper Voice can turn most severe obstacles into dust.
Stoutland, female, "Delta"
Item: Assault Vest, Ability: Intimidate Moves: Return, Dig, Play Rough, Crunch
Delta is one of Everett's oldest Pokemon and one of her most experienced. A fighter at heart, Delta can also use its senses and incredible strength to find and pull out victims from just about anywhere.
Machamp, male, "Marine"
Item: Assault Vest, Ability: Guts, Moves: Stone Edge, Strength, Close Combat, Bullet Punch
A big tough Pokemon whose a bit of a masochist, Marine feels most alive in the middle of danger. Its Guts ability grants it indomitable strength in otherwise inhospitable environments.
Umbreon, female, "Uzzi"
Item: Lum Berry, Ability: Synchronize, Moves: Wish, Protect, Toxic, Payback
Uzzi is a cautious girl who prefers to stay out of the front lines. Her Wish ability lets her heal injured people and Pokemon. In a pinch, she can make an effective bodyguard with a less direct approach...

The Kanto Fire Department's central base in in Cerulean City, which is world renowned for training water Pokemon. The Fire Department uses the latest in firefighting technology to help protect the people of the Kanto Region, such as trucks, helicopters, and planes. They also make heavy use of fire-fighting Pokemon, such as Growlithe and Arcanine with Flash Fire (who can rescue victims while being immune to intense heat) and Squirtle, Wartortle, and Blastoise with Rain Dance. They work closely with Officer Jenny's police force as well as Nurse Joy's hospital network to help save lives.
Some of these water Pokemon are descendants of the legendary Squirtle squad, a famous firefighting team in the Johto Region's history. |
