Physical Appearance: Standing at an average 5'5", Iris Mayland has long dark hair that's a dark reddish-purple color, and usually falls unhindered to her knees. Her eyes are a pale greyish-purple, generally filled with nervousness or anxiety. She has a delicate build that makes her look younger than her nineteen years, but she's freakishly strong, especially when angry. She usually wears her nurse trainee outfit, comprised of a pink blouse with white collar and button placket and short puffy sleeves, a light blue pleated skirt, a white apron, and white sneakers. Her extremities are usually wrapped in bandages of some sort, as she's constantly injuring herself.

Skills: Tending to Pokemon! She's actually quite a good Pokemon nurse-in-training, when she calms down and pays attention.

Personality: Friendly but riddled with anxiety, Iris tends to be a nervous sort, twitchy and with a perpetual case of butterfingers. She's also clumsy, graceless, and has an easily riled temper - thankfully, it's also easy to soothe. She's bookish and has a tendency to vomit facts when confronted with a cute boy, which makes her flustered and awkward. Well, more awkward than usual.

History (Optional): Born and raised in Viridian City, Iris had no desire to become a Pokemon trainer like most of her friends. She was too afraid of the outside world, and so she decided her intelligence was better spent elsewhere. This was what led her to enter the Pokemon Nurse Training Program after she finished her schooling, and decided to do her training on Cinnabar Island. The only Pokemon she has is a Sylveon that she was given by her parents, who is her best friend.

Iris positively glowed with delight when Dakota bestowed her with that kiss, and then she bounced eagerly as she began to follow the gym leader downstairs. Sylveon trotted at her heels, prancing anxiously near the door while Iris gathered her backpack, and then the nurse-in-training turned to the redhead with a beaming grin, nodding in response to the question.
"If you want, then sure. I'll swing by that bakery you like so much and grab one of their little cakes, and we can split it. Oh, although, if I'm going to ask for time off from the Center, I should probably know when you wanted to head to Cerulean Cape, and how long you wanted to be gone?" She looked at Dakota inquisitively, and hopefully. A few days away so they could explore their relationship in peace and quiet.. it sounded positively amazing!

Physical Appearance: Like her brother, Dakota is a very attractive woman in her early twenties. Shoulder length red hair accentuates her bright green eyes, and complements a very attractive face. She is constantly hiking, and has a (mostly) slim, lean body, typical of runners or bikers.
Skills: Hiking, climbing, biking, and base-jumping. Anything that provides a thrill, she is likely to try it.
Personality: Hot-headed and energetic, it is rare to find her not doing some kind of physical activity, usually right alongside her Arcanine. She will also talk your ear off about anything under the sun that interests her, but is charming and an excellent friend to those in need. She does not do well staying in one place or with a lot of responsibility.
History (Optional): She took over the Cinnabar Gym for her brother when he went to go join the Elite 4, and is not happy with it at all. This has led to some minor resentment of her brother, as he gets to go explore the world why she remains behind and watches the Gym.

She licked her lips at the thought of one of those mini cakes. And maybe a little because of Iris in that uniform. She was really excited to be getting away from this island, especially with Iris...

"Tomorrow I can definitely do. I have two years of vacation time I never took, I could probably swing a whole month if I really wanted to, but they'd also probably hate me for it. You want to do two weeks?" Stepping closer to Dakota, Iris took both of her hands and, as soon as an answer had been given, leaned in and kissed her. It was a soft, sweet kiss with an undercurrent of passion, promising much more of the same later that night once she got out from the Pokemon Center. She broke the kiss after several long moments and drew back, smiling at Dakota.
"I'll see you tonight." Giving her hands a gentle squeeze, she then let go of the trainer and exited the house with Sylveon at her heels, and once Dakota had exited, locked the door behind her. She'd walk with Dakota as far as she could before they had to split off and go their separate ways.

"Ooooh, yeah lets go ahead and do two weeks. Maybe one week at the Cape and another just kind of touring the region then? Maybe catch some new Pokemon while we're at it."
Her voice sounded excited as she spoke, obviously enthusiastic about more time away from the gym. She walked with Iris most of the way, the Gym and the Pokemon Center were not far apart at all. She then skipped back to the gym, truly hapoy about the next few weeks.
