A Pokémon Center, is a type of building that provides regulatory services for Pokémon Trainers. Pokémon Centers are found in most towns and cities of the Pokémon world; every major city or town holds a Pokémon Center. Some Pokémon Centers can be found outside of towns next to large forests or caves. Pokémon Centers are built where many Trainers gather and the area becomes popular. This is to accommodate those Trainers in need and serve as a resting spot. The most common service the Pokémon Center offers is healing Pokémon free of charge.

Physical Appearance: Like her brother, Dakota is a very attractive woman in her early twenties. Shoulder length red hair accentuates her bright green eyes, and complements a very attractive face. She is constantly hiking, and has a (mostly) slim, lean body, typical of runners or bikers.
Skills: Hiking, climbing, biking, and base-jumping. Anything that provides a thrill, she is likely to try it.
Personality: Hot-headed and energetic, it is rare to find her not doing some kind of physical activity, usually right alongside her Arcanine. She will also talk your ear off about anything under the sun that interests her, but is charming and an excellent friend to those in need. She does not do well staying in one place or with a lot of responsibility.
History (Optional): She took over the Cinnabar Gym for her brother when he went to go join the Elite 4, and is not happy with it at all. This has led to some minor resentment of her brother, as he gets to go explore the world why she remains behind and watches the Gym.

Dakota came sprinting into the Pokemon Center, her Arcanine just behind her. She was in a hurry and needed to find Iris right away!
Once she found Iris she would run up to her, stopping momentarily to catch her breath before speaking.
"Iris! Iris! Something happened! I found a huge hole in the volcano, I don't know what's causing it, but I want you to come help me find it! You get off work soon right?"
She was very excited, it was the first big thing to happen on the island since her brother had left. They had had all of two challengers since then, and the small island population tended to not generate very much excitement.

Physical Appearance: Standing at an average 5'5", Iris Mayland has long dark hair that's a dark reddish-purple color, and usually falls unhindered to her knees. Her eyes are a pale greyish-purple, generally filled with nervousness or anxiety. She has a delicate build that makes her look younger than her nineteen years, but she's freakishly strong, especially when angry. She usually wears her nurse trainee outfit, comprised of a pink blouse with white collar and button placket and short puffy sleeves, a light blue pleated skirt, a white apron, and white sneakers. Her extremities are usually wrapped in bandages of some sort, as she's constantly injuring herself.

Skills: Tending to Pokemon! She's actually quite a good Pokemon nurse-in-training, when she calms down and pays attention.

Personality: Friendly but riddled with anxiety, Iris tends to be a nervous sort, twitchy and with a perpetual case of butterfingers. She's also clumsy, graceless, and has an easily riled temper - thankfully, it's also easy to soothe. She's bookish and has a tendency to vomit facts when confronted with a cute boy, which makes her flustered and awkward. Well, more awkward than usual.

History (Optional): Born and raised in Viridian City, Iris had no desire to become a Pokemon trainer like most of her friends. She was too afraid of the outside world, and so she decided her intelligence was better spent elsewhere. This was what led her to enter the Pokemon Nurse Training Program after she finished her schooling, and decided to do her training on Cinnabar Island. The only Pokemon she has is a Sylveon that she was given by her parents, who is her best friend.

Iris had her arms full of bandages when Dakota found her, and she stopped, blinking owlishly at her friend. Those pale eyes widened, then, at hearing what the Gym Leader was saying, and her lips formed into an 'O' of surprise. "Oh gosh! Yes! I get off in.." Her gaze wandered toward the clock on the nearby wall, and a muscle near her left eye twitched. "..ten minutes ago. And no one even said anything!" She huffed an annoyed sound, then looked at Dakota and grinned. "Let me just go put these up and get out of my uniform and grab Sylveon and we can go!" And then she bustled off to do just that. About five minutes later, she reappeared in her usual attire of blue shorts and pink shirt, her hair pulled back into a high ponytail and white backpack on her back, Sylveon trotting along at her side.
"All set! Let's go!" She bounced eagerly on her toes and followed wherever Dakota lead. Time for adventure!
